Badminton – Burghley – Pau – New York

May I firstly like to wish everyone a happy new year, I’m sorry I’ve been quiet on here for a while but being quiet on here meant I was busy else where – therefore not having the time to blog or update my website.

After launching my website, I became very busy grooming up and down the country and even over seas from Badminton in May, via Fontainebleau for the YR Europeans, Burghley and then back out to South of France to Pau to finish the season off.

In the middle of all this, I had a busy time at One days, and couple of lower level three days, with a trip to Ireland with the eventing ponies, turning another year older celebrating a birthday at Burghley which was nice. After Burghley, I loaded up the caravan and moved into Osberton Horse trials, setting up the site and course building. its so different to see an event from the other side and really interesting what goes on behind the scenes and nice to know I didn’t have any horses to feed at 6am! Once the season was over, I had a few days catching up on jobs at home and getting ready for the winter, then I headed out to Ireland for the Monart Sale. After Monart, me and mum headed to New York for a few days break, but was still like being at event doing over 20,000 steps a day! The views are breath taking though and proves it doesn’t just happen in the movies!

I’ve spent most of the winter driving hunt lorries and house sitting, I did get a few days at home around Christmas which was nice.

After seeing the new year in in style, I was straight back in to work mode with not much time off since.

I look forward to 2019 being a busy one, with plenty of events already in the calendar whether im grooming, course building or working on the event site.

My first grooming event is at Isleham, then Oasby and then I’m Stewarding at Lincoln before moving into Belton for the 1st big international of the season. I look forward to seeing you all on the circuit and I hope to keep you all up to date through the season.
