I started my equestrian experience aged 7 on holiday down in Devon riding a relatives horse. Having enjoyed the experience that much I soon found a riding school near home and the rest is history as they say.

Having spent years at the riding school through my school days, riding for friends on their horses, I studied at Riseholme College doing a National Diploma in Horse Management. Having qualified from Riseholme I earned some hard cash on a tractor before finding myself packing my car and heading to Cornwall after seeing a job in Horse and Hound for Whip/groom having enjoyed time in Cornwall at the Tetcott Hunt Kennels, I returned back to Lincolnshire for a few weeks then I accepted a working Pupil position at Georgie Spence Eventing.

Having learnt so much and had so much fun I returned home after winter and worked full time on a event yard and after having some time off after injury I decided to go freelance in July 2011.

Since then I have groomed at many top events in the UK and Europe including Badminton, Burghley, Bramham, Blenheim and Boekelo.

In 2013 I won the Best Cared for Horse at Burghley, and in 2017 I groomed for the GB Silver Medal Winning Junior Team at the Europeans in Millstreet, Ireland. Then I was nominated for the Haddon Training Pony, Junior and YR groom award by Holly Needham, Phoebe Locke and Bubby Upton and was successful in winning the award.
